I RECOMMEND THAT WHEN SOMEONE IS RELEASING A DANCE UNTO THE LORD, THAT THEY
USE AS LARGE A FLAG AS POSSIBLE. THE SWEEPING OF THE FLAG IS A BEAUTIFUL AND GRACEFUL WAY TO COMMUNICATE FEELING AND
EMOTION, AND IT'S HARD TO DO THAT WHEN YOU ARE USING A SMALL, INCONSPICUOUS FLAG.
IF YOU ARE PRESENTING A SOLO DANCE I RECOMMEND THAT YOU
USE A FLAG AT LEAST 30" WIDE BY 50" LONG. DESIGNS ON FLAG SHOULD STAY SIMPLE . REMEMBER YOUR
DANCE IS WHAT COUNTS, NOT THE FLAG ITSELF. THE PEOPLE ARE ENJOYING YOUR WORSHIP IN DANCE, NOT JUST THE FLAG.

BIOCHARLOTTE LEONARD
After graduating high school I married and hadfour
children. During that time while my children were young I began working withthe youth in the dance and
drama department at our local church. As the years went by I realized I had a God given abilityto work with students of all ages.As my children grew I looked for other opportunities to grow
my skills. Along with the work I’ve accomplished with Communities In Schools, I have been blessed to be able to
work with several hundred students during a month long enrichment program held
each year during the month of June.
I’ve
enjoyed working with the Starkville High Theatre department where I Create silk billows, overlays, garments, ribbons, flags and much more.Dance has always played a major role in my life as an artist.
In February of 2007 I began creating hand made
silks for Church dance teams and individuals for use in praise dance. . The bulk of my work is with Christian groups that use
them in dance celebrations.
Each week I routinely go to a studio and practice the art of "flag dance".I enjoy being able
to share this part with others also. In all, I couldn’t
dream of doing anything else.If you find your calling in life, your
very blessed and I would say, that I know for sure, I have.Charlotte Todd Leonard
