I
was born in the slums of Calcutta. I now live in a lovely house in Brighton where I led City Gate Church for
over 25 years. I am married to Yvonne and have two grown-up children Nathan
and Rachael.
Originally I trained at Brighton University as a Science
and Math's teacher, and was surprised when God
released me into
dance in the early 1980's.
Since then, I have played a pioneering
role in dance and creativity within worship in the UK and beyond. I am the founder and
director of "Movement in Worship", ministry that trains and networks dancers and worshippers.
We are an international network
of passionate, dynamic and creative
worshippers. Our vision is to be contagious: To raise the profile of creativity in worship by
modeling and inspiring others in movement and dance.
Kirsty Hallett lives in Sunny Brighton.Kirsty works for City Gate Church doing lots of different things
including
travelling internationally, dancing and co-ordinating Movement in Worship an international ministry that trains
and networks dancers and worshippers.She
is passionate about creatively worshiping God
with everything and enabling others to be released into the
fullness of all that God has for them. She
loves
worshipping, dancing, living by the sea, exploring new countries and eating good food.

Testimonies:I thought they were great.
I liked their approach to praise and worship using dance and flags/banners. They focused on worshiping freely instead
of on choreographed dances. This allows people to just worship God with their own style. Spontanious worship had
always been my heart and is my strength, not that prepared dances are not also necessary. My pastor and his wife would
have really liked their take on using dance and banners as ministry.
Again Thanks so Much for hosting such and AWESOME CONFERENCE
